Wood is the foundation of any boat, it has a very high buoyancy so it allows many kinds of boats to float.
Most people use wood at the bottom of their boat when they are building something such as a tank, turtle, car, or just a boat in general. Its very hard to make a boat without wood.
However, wood in general is also easily destroyed, and will have to be protected with Armour.
